1. Introduction

 

Welcome to Traveguru, your trusted travel partner for exploring the Andaman Islands. By booking our services, packages, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our valued guests and our company, ensuring that your travel experience with us is seamless, safe, and enjoyable.

By confirming a booking with Traveguru, you enter into a contract that binds you to our terms, policies, and responsibilities as outlined below. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, you are kindly requested not to proceed with bookings or services from our company.


2. Scope of Services

 

Traveguru specializes in end-to-end travel solutions in the Andaman Islands. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Customized tour packages (honeymoon, family, group, adventure, and corporate).

  • Hotel, resort, and homestay bookings.

  • Cab and airport transfer services.

  • Inter-island cruise and ferry ticketing.

  • Adventure and water activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, parasailing, fishing, and kayaking.

  • Excursion and sightseeing arrangements to major attractions.

  • Event and honeymoon planning.

  • 24/7 customer assistance throughout your stay.


 

3. Booking Policy

 
  • Bookings can be made through our website, email, or by directly contacting our customer service team.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of an advance payment as per the package or service agreed upon.

  • Final confirmation is sent via email or WhatsApp with a detailed itinerary, inclusions, and other instructions.

  • Traveguru reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion if deemed necessary for operational or safety reasons.


 

4. Payment Terms

 
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash (as applicable).

  • An advance payment (typically 50% of the total package cost) is required at the time of booking. The balance must be cleared before or upon arrival unless otherwise agreed.

  • Certain bookings, such as hotel reservations, cruises, or activities, may require full payment in advance due to third-party policies.

  • All payments are to be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless explicitly stated otherwise.


 

5. Pricing & Inclusions

 
  • Prices quoted at the time of booking are based on the prevailing rates of hotels, ferries, fuel, and other services. Any significant changes in these factors may lead to a revision of package costs.

  • Packages generally include accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, entry fees (where mentioned), and activities as per the itinerary.

  • Exclusions such as personal expenses, meals not mentioned, tips, optional activities, and items of a personal nature will be borne by the traveler.


 

6. Cancellations & Refund Policy

 

By the Traveler:

 
  • Cancellation requests must be sent via email (infotraveguru@gmail.com) or WhatsApp to be valid.

  • Cancellation charges apply as follows:

    • 30 days or more before arrival: 10% of the package cost.

    • 15–29 days before arrival: 25% of the package cost.

    • 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of the package cost.

    • Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the package cost.

 

By Traveguru:

 
  • In rare cases where Traveguru must cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (natural calamities, ferry cancellations, government restrictions, etc.), guests will be offered an alternative option or full refund of the amount paid for unutilized services.

  • Traveguru is not liable for compensation of expenses incurred by the traveler beyond the refund of services booked with us.


 

7. Amendments & Rescheduling

 
  • Requests for amendments to existing bookings (such as change of hotel, travel dates, or activity) are subject to availability and additional charges, if applicable.

  • Last-minute rescheduling is not guaranteed, especially during peak seasons.

  • Cruise and ferry tickets once issued are non-transferable and non-refundable as per operator policies.


 

8. Responsibilities of the Traveler

 

By booking with Traveguru, you agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Carry valid travel documents such as government ID proofs, permits, ferry tickets, and activity confirmations.

  • Follow safety instructions during adventure and water activities. Traveguru or its partners are not liable for accidents caused by negligence or non-compliance with safety guidelines.

  • Respect local culture, traditions, and natural resources while traveling.

  • Be punctual for transfers, ferries, and scheduled tours to avoid delays or missed services.


 

9. Responsibilities of Traveguru

 

Traveguru is committed to:

  • Delivering services as promised at the time of booking.

  • Providing accurate information on itineraries, inclusions, and exclusions.

  • Ensuring reliable and quality third-party partnerships for hotels, cruises, and activities.

  • Offering customer support throughout your journey in the Andamans.


 

10. Third-Party Services

 
  • Many of our services (such as cruises, ferries, water sports, and certain accommodations) are operated by third-party vendors.

  • Traveguru acts as an intermediary and is not liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, or changes made by these vendors.

  • Any dispute arising from third-party services will be addressed in accordance with the vendor’s own terms and conditions.


 

11. Force Majeure

 

Traveguru shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or service disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural calamities (storms, cyclones, earthquakes).

  • Political unrest or government restrictions.

  • Strikes, lockouts, or labor disputes.

  • Technical failures of transport or communication.

In such cases, Traveguru will make all reasonable efforts to provide alternative solutions, but refunds may not be applicable for services already utilized.


 

12. Health & Safety

 
  • Travelers engaging in water sports or adventure activities must declare any pre-existing medical conditions.

  • Pregnant women, senior citizens, and individuals with health concerns are advised to consult a doctor before participating in strenuous activities.

  • Traveguru and its partners reserve the right to deny participation in certain activities if safety standards are at risk.


13. Privacy Policy

Traveguru respects your privacy. Information collected during bookings (such as names, contact details, and payment information) is used only for service delivery. We do not share or sell personal data to third parties except when required to complete your bookings with hotels, ferries, or activity providers.


 

14. Limitation of Liability

 
  • Traveguru’s liability is limited to the value of the services booked through us.

  • We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property during travel.

  • We do not assume responsibility for missed flights, lost baggage, or delays caused by airlines, ferries, or other service providers.


 

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
